Durango Autoworks was established in 1986 by Danny Stewart, who operated the shop for over 28 years. Danny built the business on a simple principle: treat every customer the way you'd want to be treated.
In 2014, ownership transitioned to Ian Stewart — Danny's son, who grew up working in the shop — and Dennis Rypkema, a longtime employee with 20+ years of experience. The partnership is committed to maintaining the same integrity and customer service that Danny had supplied.
Now in our 40th year of continuous operation, Durango Autoworks remains a family business where every vehicle gets the care and attention it deserves.

Longtime employee with 20+ years of experience. Partnered with Ian Stewart in 2014 to purchase the business, bringing deep institutional knowledge and hands-on expertise.
